A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between Axiom Space and the University of Houston’s IDEAS² Center to collaborate on research, development, and educational activities aligned with national priorities in space exploration.
As part of this partnership, UH will contribute to research and development initiatives on the Axiom Station, supporting national scientific, technological, and educational goals, including those outlined in NASA’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Microgravity Strategy.
This collaboration also provides UH students and faculty with unique opportunities to engage in real-world human spaceflight operations in LEO, fostering workforce development and advancing experiential learning in space science and engineering.
