The IDEAS² kick-off meeting took place on November 2024 featuring a presentation by Montgomery Goforth, Assistant Director of Strategic Pursuits and Partnerships at JSC, entitled “ARTEMIS: NASA’s plan for sustainable lunar exploration.” The event was attended by NASA managers and engineers, aerospace company executives and over 200 students. The UH Provost and the Engineering Dean offered opening and closing remarks highlighting the center’s importance in expanding aerospace research at UH.
